Our Services
Behaviour Support Practitioner
At Little Big Steps Health Group, our high-calibre practitioners deliver Positive Behaviour Support that is person-centred, trauma-informed, and grounded in strengths. We genuinely care. We work collaboratively with clients and support networks to create sustainable, meaningful change.
We pride ourselves on taking the time to get to know each person’s strengths, preferences, sensory needs, goals, and lived experiences. Through collaboration with families, caregivers, educators, and support networks, we explore what is working well, what feels difficult, and what supports can make daily life more predictable, comfortable, and connected. Our plans are not about “fixing” a person; they are about understanding them and removing barriers so they can thrive.
Behaviour Support may include things like strengthening communication skills, supporting social or emotional development, adjusting the environment to reduce stressors, developing safe and respectful ways to respond during moments of distress or building tools for stress, building capacity for individuals to engage in functionally equivalent replacement behaviours or improving emotional regulation. Each strategy is tailored to the individual and designed to feel achievable, practical, and aligned with the person’s values and goals.
Every piece of our work is guided by what truly matters: improving quality of life, increasing independence and confidence, and creating environments where people feel respected, supported, and free to be themselves.
Positive Behaviour Support services are available to individuals who qualify for NDIS funding and those who would like to privately pay. LBS Health Group Has immediate capacity.
Clinical Supervision
As an Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioner, I offer clinical supervision that is supportive, collaborative, and grounded in real-world practice. I understand how complex and emotionally demanding behaviour support work can be, and my goal is to help practitioners feel more confident, reflective, and equipped in their roles.
Drawing on my experience across disability, mental health, and positive behaviour support, I provide guidance on clinical reasoning, report writing, case formulation, ethical decision-making and best-practice, neuroaffirming support and endorsements. Whether you’re developing foundational skills or refining advanced practice, my supervision focuses on building your capability while ensuring you feel supported. I welcome practitioners from all levels and would love to discuss how I can support your professional growth. Please feel free to reach out anytime. LBS Health Group has Immediate capacity for supervision sessions and reviewing reports.
Workshops and School Programs
At LBS Health Group, we are dedicated to building resilience, emotional intelligence, and confident decision-making in young people through engaging, evidence-based learning experiences. Alongside our individual supports, we deliver tailored workshops for schools, youth organisations, and community groups across Northern and North-West Tasmania.
Our workshops are grounded in neuro-affirming behavioural support principles, creating safe, inclusive, and empowering spaces for skill development. They are particularly valuable for at-risk youth or any group seeking to strengthen life skills in a supportive environment.
We currently offer established workshops in emotional regulation and peer pressure/assertiveness, specifically designed to support school-aged children and adolescents. We are also able to develop customised programs to meet the unique needs of specific school cohorts or community groups. Whether you require a one-off session or a multi-week series, we collaborate closely with staff and leaders to design workshops that are purposeful, practical, and impactful.
